Is she the Million dollar woman?

“I would call myself a multi-talented person,” she said. “I can do a lot of things, both in modelling and in business or doing housework, whatever.”
Ásdís, aka Icequeen, certainly had no problem winning the March round of Savvy’s Search for the Million Dollar Woman contest, but having an entire country behind you helps.
Savvy got to know her while she posed for top photographer Marcel Indik. Ásdís is no stranger to the modeling industry: she runs her own modelling agency and manages the Miss Hawaiian Tropics in Sweden, Norway and Iceland. She books work for models in Italy, India, China, Greece, Spain, England, and many other countries.
“I had done almost everything because the model market was so small in Iceland. At that point people started to call me and ask if I could find some girls for this and for that. So the friends that I was working for when I was around 19 gave me the opportunity to start a modelling website with them. Before long I bought it and started to do my own things. I can’t say that it was easy! I didn’t have any money for many years! I was usually in the red but I didn’t want to give up. Now I am doing just fine. The agency is not that big, but I love the job because it gives me the opportunity to travel around the world and make dreams come true for my models. I just love being able to do that,” she said.
Like many a gorgeous celebrity model before her, she’s married to a football player (that’s soccer for those of you in the U.S.). Her future plans, she said, depend somewhat on where he plays for a team. She said she would love to live in Italy or Greece and eventually study to become a photographer herself.
She took advantage of her recent trip to the United States to talk business and may expand her Ice Modeling Agency to America.
Visiting Los Angeles for her Savvy shoot, she connected with fellow winner Raven Lexy for a visit to the Playboy mansion, where she chatted with celebrities such as director Michael Bay.
When it comes to her sense of personal style, Ásdís isn’t too starstruck.
“I have my own sense of style. I don’t buy an outfit just because I see a celebrity wearing it,” she said.
At her shoot, photographed above a restaurant in the Larchmont district, Ásdís continued to serve as a great ambassador for her homeland, telling the crew about Iceland’s technological savvy and high levels of literacy, longevity, income, and social cohesion.
Thanks to Savvy, she has expanded her fan base far beyond that part of the world. She said she has enjoyed her time at Savvy and meeting so many new fans and friends.
“I fell in love with Savvy very quickly. I think it is a perfect resource for models to get attention and extend their careers. It’s a good spot for a model to be in, the best spot right now,” she said.
She may want it all, but her highest priority is to be happy. The way she finds happiness is setting big goals and reaching them.
“I could not ask for more. I have everything I ever wished for in my life now so the rest is just going to be a fun and more challenge. I’m a very positive person and I love life,” she said.
